Saturday 8th April 2006 What's in the Book? The Seventeen Million books of Janet and Allan Ahlberg Seven Stories, The Centre for Children's Books in Newcastle, hosts What's in the Book?, which celebrates the Ahlberg's creative partnership and explores the wonderful books they made. This prestigious prize is open to anyone between the ages of 11 and 17 and consistently recognises and rewards some of the brightest future stars of the poetry world. This year they are running a week specialising in story- telling, giving children the opportunity to work with an expert storyteller and listen to stories, as well as creating their own. Aimed at 10-14 year olds, the course is based at Whitwell Hall, Norfolk.
