'I warmly support this important on-line resource which will provide access to a wide range of information and point the way to reading resources for both 'professionals' and the wider community'. Dorothy Porter writer and consultant.
'It is so important for disabled people of all ages to be represented in all forms of media including books. I have always been an avid reader and am delighted that more children's books now feature disability and actively support children with reading difficulties.
"Families need to know where to find these books and how to get further help and advice on a particular disability or reading difficulty.
This work by Booktrust and Alexandra Strick is instrumental in helping to achieve this important aspect of disability inclusion, as well as encouraging children to read and use their imagination.' Julie Fernandez actress
